Clubs & Organizations

This pilot program features 9 clubs & 1 organization available to students in grades 3–8. Below you will find a list of each club, including a description, the number of available spots, and the days the club will meet.

Club registration will open on February 26 at 6:00 PM.

SPACE IS LIMITED and club entry will be awarded by a lottery system.

All required forms must be submitted by February 25. Students who do not submit forms by this date will not have a spot in the lottery.

Grades 3–5: Two teacher recommendations

Grades 6–8: One teacher recommendation form signed by all teachers

The first meeting is scheduled for the first week of March, subject to the club coordinator’s discretion.

3rd-5th Grade

Students will explore creativity, learn art skills, and enjoy hands-on projects in a supportive environment.

*3rd-4th Graders

Students will strengthen problem solving skills, critical thinking and confidence in math while having fun.

*3rd-5th Graders

Students will explore the world of STEM by building and programming robots using age appropriate tools and technology.

*4th-6th Graders

Learn about recycling, save water and protect clean air, lead fun school projects, and hear from guest speakers and community leaders.

6th-8th Grade

Middle School students will have the opportunity to help other students, build leadership skills an make a difference at The Rice School.

*6th-8th Graders

Students will work together to design and create our school's official yearbook-capturing memories, milestones, and magic of the entire school year.

*3rd-5th Graders

This club gives students hands-on experience in computer building, troubleshooting and coding.

Students will learn how to speak with confidence, think on your feet, build powerful arguments, use facts to support your ideas and respectfully challenge different viewpoints.
